Care to Sail is a Sail Training organisation that works with young people, who are in care or have been in care, we enable them to overcome adversity and achieve the extraordinary.
Sail Training is a proven platform for working with young people from all nationalities, social and ethnic backgrounds. Sailing provides a platform for personal development in a way that is not achieved ashore, by the nature of its environment, vehicle, challenges and rewards.
We’re crowdfunding to raise £10,000 to provide sail training for young people in care and those that have been in care.
With this campaign, we hope to raise £10,000 by Monday 14th September to offer 10 care experienced young people aged 8-25 years old, the opportunity to overcome adversity and achieve the extraordinary, sailing on the West Coast of Scotland and building resilience and personal development.
