The EickLoxx SPP® (Swiss Patella Plate®) system is a new technique in the treatment of medial patellar luxation in dogs and cats using impact plate SPP® (Swiss Patella Plate®).
In the surgical treatment of patellar luxation of the small animal, a pull belt is usually used to fix the osteotomized tuberositas tibiae. The tips of the KIRSCHNER drill wires used in this process can irritate the skin or migrate the implants, which can give rise to their removal. The new impact plate EickLoxx SPP® is intended to avoid secondary operations.
