Joseph Wright’s project focused on refining the data from the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) program to measure polar ice caps in Antarctica by finding the optimum spatial resolution for the data. He created and ran simulations on a server at Australian National University's Research School of Earth Science. He then analysed the data with the spatial resolution to accurately show melting ice mass loss in Antarctica.
