Final project for my Human Development class at SUNY Alfred State 2020.
In the first half of this video, I use a The Office style short film to display Erik Erikson's 7th psychosocial stage: generativity vs stagnation. The examples displayed make reference to the changes encountered by the general public due to the COVID-19 pandemic and also pokes fun at the idea that older people can not adapt to fast changes when it comes to technology. In the second half, I dive into this further via an interview with my mom; a reading teacher who has had to increase her technological skills in order to continue to effectively teach students through e-learning resources, rather than at a classroom in person.
