David Dastmalchian and I always enjoyed doing "dance breaks" during the Big Slick annual fundraiser auction for Childrens Mercy hospital in Kansas City. This year was a virtual "talent show" so we put together this rendition of "Fire" (Jimi Hendrix) with Jade Catta-Preta singing, Anna Sentina on bass, Jon Spurney on piano & keys and me on drums. Special thanks to fire wrangler David Yarovesky.
This is the 18th in a series of Collaborative Covers by Amateurs (and some pros) of Rock Songs - aka #CCARS - and the first one done post-lockdown, with some of us IN THE SAME ROOM!
