Rising Rhythm ‘s Evening Length Production, Selva Biónica explores the multiple pathways the human body creates during traumatic moments and life changing medical experiences. Injuries at any age can physically cause us to stand still and ask us to pause, to reflect on the emotions we feel, the emotions we experience when our life CLOTS. When our bodies feel most isolated, frozen within time, we begin to access our epigenetic DNA. Join us as we investigate how the stories of Jessica Maria Recinos, Samad Raheem Guerra and Olivia Eng centuring the battle with bloodclots, loss and defects converge using dance, poetry, original musical composition, and collaborative process with the members of Rising Rhythm Adult Company & youth artists.
