THE SPORTS BUZZ ON THE AIR talks to Morgan head coach Edward Aviles after the Class 1A, Division II Eagles jumped out to an early lead on their way to a convincing 58-22 victory over the Walnut Springs Hornets in a District 12-1A, DII winner-take-all showdown for second place and a playoff berth in the all-Bosque County six-man Battle for the Bosque Thursday night in THE SPORTS BUZZ Game Of The Week.
After opening the season with five straight losses while dealing with a multitude of injuries, defending district champion Morgan (3-1 in district, 3-5 overall) scored on the first play from scrimmage and never trailed on their way to a dominating win over Walnut Springs (2-2, 4-6).
