THE SPORTS BUZZ ON THE AIR talks to Cranfills Gap head coach Adam Carroll after the Class 1A, Division II Lions dethroned the defending District 12-1A, DII champion Morgan Eagles, 42-28, in a home win in the all-Bosque County six-man Battle for the Bosque Friday night in THE SPORTS BUZZ Game Of The Week.
After battling through a defensive struggle in the first half, Cranfills Gap (2-0 in district, 5-3 overall) began building on its 8-0 halftime lead by taking the second half kickoff and driving down for a score. Morgan (0-1, 0-5) mounted a late rally that fell short.
