To draw attention to Budweiser’s Bud Cooler retail stop within the Los Angeles Staples Center, NVE collaborated with Budweiser to concept an interactive art installation that brought fans in on their way to games. We identified world-renowned 3D interactive muralist, Leon Keer, to create a larger-than-life basketball-themed mural on a massive wall adjacent to the Cooler and located off of the stadium’s main Figueroa Street entrance. Leon’s work incorporated augmented reality layers inside the mural and utilized physical props to draw fans in for an interactive, photo-worthy moment. The mural exists indefinitely in the stadium and continues to support Budweiser’s existing connection to sports through the brand’s relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers, the LA Kings, and AEG.
