If you've ever climbed on the immaculate limestone of Wild Iris, there's a good chance that you also enjoyed a post-climb beer at the Lander Bar. A staple of the central Wyoming adventure sports scene, the Lander Bar (and the attached Gannet Grill) have been serving up burgers and beer to climbers, mountain bikers, NOLSies, and the Lander community for years. Local climbing legend and developer Steve Bechtel tells us about the early days of the bar, and what it has come to mean for the community.
