From September Wednesday afternoons will be different at Portland Place. Instead of formal lessons, we will have an Enrichment Programme of activities. Enrichment takes place straight after lunch and finishes at the end of the school day.
Some activities will also give you a qualification, useful in thinking about your CV and what you might want to do in the future. These include: Sports Leadership, Extended Project and Duke of Edinburgh. Most activities are free, but there are those that involve outside organisations, such as horse-riding that have a cost. Make sure you discuss these with your parents before signing up.
If you are involved in the school play or are in the Y11 football team, there are times of the year when you will be rehearsing or playing football on a Wednesday afternoon, but we will let you know when these are.
