This 70-minute class starts with therapy ball massage of the quads (front thigh muscles). I use Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls. (See my website for why: in short, softer tools are better for your fascia.) You also can use tennis balls in a sock or other therapy balls.
The massage opens up the hips, and also chains of awareness and movement we use during our yoga practice, which today leads to a Half Moon / Twisting Half Moon series, winding down to a deeply releasing Savasana (Corpse Pose-complete rest).
Prior yoga experience recommended.
