Good morning and welcome to the Daily Dish. Today is Friday, April 24th, and it is a gold day.
I am so excited it's Friday, and I'm sure you are too. I do not have any big plans other than a family game of badminton. We are digging deep into the sports equipment section of our garage and pulling out some oldies but goodies.
I woke up today to a great quote by Arthur Ashe and would like to share it with you. "True Heroism is very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost."
Think about that, how do you serve others? How do you help or assist others? Is there more that you can do? Could you set the table for dinner, help put dishes away, sweep the floor, chip in without being asked? I challenge you to find a way to be someone's hero!
I am looking forward to a great game of Bingo with 3rd grade today. Yesterday's game was with 2nd graders, and Pierce and Jane were victorious! It was a 22-minute marathon game that turned into show-and-tell with their family pets. Oh, how I miss those faces!
