Are you doing industry research? You might want to try looking into trade associations. A trade association is an organization that's funded by a group of businesses who work in a particular industry. Trade associations will often conduct their own research and publishing them to their websites.
Now, a lot of their research might be members only but a good amount of it might also be available for free. The easiest way to find a trade association is to Google the name of your industry plus the words “trade association.” For example, if you wanted to find something about the fantasy sports industry, you would just want to Google fantasy Sports + trade association and then you would discover the website of the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association, which does have some free statistics about the industry on their website. Trade Association websites can be very helpful when conducting industry research, and if you can't find what you're looking for, please feel free to chat with us on our ask the librarian chat service.
