It provides tips on combatting compassion fatigue including the QPR tool that aids in effective intervention in a crisis situation. With a high prevalence of suicide in veterinary medicine it is critical that we have the education and resources to support our colleagues. This presentation will also teach PAWS -- practice mindfulness, assess your self-care, work together, and say something.
