The Room of My Own, The Land of My Own, a video-based performance, includes performance, dance, and spoken text. Living in different cities and cultures provides me with a chance to look back into myself, into who I really am, and ask myself, "Did you find your own space?" I realized that I am learning and understanding the self through other spaces. I chose to use the rectangle A4 paper to present the discussion and introspection about my 'identity.' The blank A4 papers could represent the female labor force and my labor force. They could mirror women's spaces as well, such as public spaces and private spaces.

A piece of soil that could hold your happiness, your sorrow?
Sometimes I feel like my mind wanders in the cloud
I see everything in the distance, in a mist.

Not like birds, they pass through the cloud, rest in the tree
Not like salmons, they transport by the current, heading towards home
We are like the drops in the river
The thread of the wind
The swell of the wave

Off we jump
Off we flow
Off we go

Whenever river flows, we flow, I flow.
