Short film, part of the body of work of my exhibition "Suporte Cintilante". Final work of the Master in Glass Art and Science, a partnership between the Fine Art Faculty and the Science and Technology Faculty of Lisbon:
“Suporte Cintilante” is a work series presented as a conclusion of the Master in Glass Art and Science and relates to the reason why I embarked on this journey. Having a career in fashion and jewelry design, I question the commonplace within ornamentation presenting, from an artistic perspective, conceptually wearable glass pieces that conform to different areas of the human body and such physical locations connect to a feeling of comfort, once touched by my hands.
The body here is not a mere display for adornment as a symbol of social status, but the “co-creator” of such sculptures to wear which are built on its
topography, making them unique by personal association.
