When you hand a young lady the lyrics to fit an already tough song to sing, and she nails it first go, you know you’re in the presence of a professional singer. She could sing the phone book!

I coached Demi Nova into the studio to give the Sound of Sustainability treatment to a Barbara Streisand classic from the 1964 musical Funny Girl, all for a good cause.

The Sound of Sustainability continues with this version of the all-time favourite Streisand tune, tweaked, twisted and tampered with, to bring the spotlight on Sustainability through song. Demi Nova’s soulful vocals add a classy touch to the environmentally-friendly lyrics. This was a first take and rough-cut audio track of the song.

Demi was born in Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Atlanta, Georgia and her musical career has been deeply influenced by her southern roots. More than simply an entertainer, Demi has a Bachelors Degree of Science in Biochemistry, a Minor in Psychology and a Doctorate in Pharmacy, as well as being a published author and poet.

Demi is gracing stages from America to Asia. And in 2017, brought “The Demi Nova Experience” to the world. Demi is currently performing in Bangkok.
