Little did I know but a week after this recording I would leave the UK for good and find a whole new life somewhere new. It makes the recording of this memory all that more important as a reminder to not wait to say things, to step up even if my heart beats fast and my palms are sweaty. These days, I practice authentic relating as much as I can. I still have some relationships and areas where I am less able. But this practice is probably one of the most important parts of relationships and the most avoided by humans. If you do any self development work, i highly recommend ART - Authentic Relating Training.
