A blend of case study presentations and best practice statements, Neuroscience Nurses from across the UK and Ireland joined and shared practices and discussed the current evidence that supports the clinical decisions nurses make. Interactive, it was facilitated by members of the British Association of Neuroscience Nurses (BANN) and participants were able to answer polls about the next step to be taken and ask questions.
The BANN benchmark statements was used to identify areas of practice that relate to the Management of Behaviour and Cognitive Impairment. Attendees were invited to reflect on their own practice and discuss variations in practice. The evidence base for the statements were also presented, with areas of low evidence base discussed. By the end of the webinar attendees will be able to reflect on their own practice, gain an enhanced understanding of the rationales behind care decisions and enhance their care delivery.
