Born into an Evangelical family in Ukraine during the Soviet period, Taras Dyatlik helped his father with an underground Christian publishing ministry as a child. Today, Taras has more than 20 years of experience in teaching theology and the bible to include leading the Overseas Council ministry as Regional Director of Eastern Europe and Central Asia since 2011. Taras is passionate about mission-minded theological education, which drove him to co-lead a groundbreaking peacemaking project in Eastern Ukraine. Taras and his wife, Natasha, live in Rivne, Ukraine, and have two married children. Taras will be one of four Regional Directors at the Museum of the Bible who will share compelling insights and stories with you.
In addition to his work with seminaries and churches in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Taras co-leads a groundbreaking project promoting peace in Eastern Ukraine, a region filled with conflict driven by ethnic, religious, and separatist tensions.
