This session kicks off with an intro to the Tribal-ISAC group from Tribal-ISAC steering committee members. Then we move into the breakout session. In this dynamic cyber threat landscape, it is more important than ever for the C-Suite, Tribal Council, and other executives to champion the cybersecurity strategy for their tribal organizations. That does not mean every executive needs to be an expert in cybersecurity, but it does mean advocating for and enabling the cybersecurity and/or technology staff for success. Executives must also embody that support and positively influence the cybersecurity culture for the entire organization. In this session, we'll discuss: why leading from the top goes for cybersecurity too, the importance of maintaining cyber situational awareness and how it does not have to cost a lot of money to drive the cybersecurity strategy forward.
