Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is a talented individual who recently took a turn in his career. For most of his life, he has worked as a project manager. Upon exiting school with a bachelor’s degree in government and political science, as well as his master’s in public administration, Emerson worked as a project manager for the Greenville Area Development Corporation for over a decade. He managed a variety of projects here, developed an existing industry call program, conducted the inventory, responded to companies regarding business development and maintained information on utilities, taxes, zoning, transportation, financing tools, etc.

After wrapping up his tenure here, he spent a bit of time as an economic development project manager for the city of Columbia, South Carolina. Shortly thereafter, Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. took a position as the owner of Gregory Equipment Sales. During his time here, Emerson sold industrial equipment to manufacturing plants, developed business leads, managed marketing campaigns and much more.

Though Emerson had an enjoyable career in these areas, he came to a place in his life where he needed to reevaluate his career. After feeling a calling to the healthcare industry, he decided to take the leap and begin pursuing an education in this area. Leaning on his Christian faith and looking back on missed opportunities, Emerson took the brave choice to pursue this calling. He now holds many healthcare licenses and certifications, an associate’s degree in nursing and will be earning his bachelor’s degree in nursing in August 2021.

Looking back on this difficult decision of his, Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is proud of where he has settled. His new career path has now opened new opportunities and allowed him to meet and bless others in different areas of life. He prioritizes compassion in his career and strives to provide a meaningful healthcare experience even in the direst situations. Emerson’s patients come to him for constructive help on seeing their situation from a new perspective. Every patient that comes his way becomes as valuable as family.
