James (Mike) Plumlee is a financial advisor in Dallas, Texas. He is the owner and President of MPAC Consulting Group. His financial services career began in 1989 and he has become an expert in numerous categories including asset protection, tax reduction, estate planning, and financial planning.
James Plumlee did not always plan to become a financial advisor. He attended the Southern Methodist University in Dallas. There he studied political science with the original plan to practice law. He eventually learned that his passion was in financial services and started a career in this field.
After attending Southern Methodist University, Mike Plumlee began working at a well-known financial firm. The firm, Dean Witter, became the place where he learned a lot about the industry. From here he gained the idea to open his own financial firm. He did not enjoy the quotas that Wall Street type firms used that resulted in clients paying for services that they might not need.
MPAC Consulting group was founded with the clients in mind. For over 20 years the goals and missions on MPAC are to provide people with the serviced that they need to have great financial health. MPAC spreads the message that planning for your future is important. Without a plan, failures are likely to happen.
James has been able to grow MPAC Consulting Group and have expanded the clientele. They are serving not only individuals but businesses as well. He has built a reputable company that takes pride in the service that it provides. They have recently joined and have been A+ accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
James Michael Plumlee has recently joined and become a chapter president of the American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA). The AFEA is a non-profit financial wellness company that strives to change the way people think of financial education. Their chapters provide local communities with unbiased financial education. They specialize in providing education to businesses, churches, colleges, and libraries.
James Plumlee is a native of Dallas and currently lives there with his wife and two daughters. When he is not working, he enjoys practicing his hobbies which are golfing and sailing.
