ATYP introduces ATYP On Demand Plus - an exciting new digital resource for Primary teachers that extends on our free On Demand Platform.
An annual subscription to the platform gives teachers around Australia access to a series of units exploring the Primary curriculum through drama and literacy strategies. The initial three-unit offerings are linked to the History curriculum. Each detailed 8-week unit of work includes accompanying resources, suggested activities and instructional videos led by ATYP Teaching Artists, which teachers can either use for their own PD or show to their students in the classroom.
The units have been developed by ATYP’s Head of Learning, Jacqui Cowell, in collaboration with the ATYP Education team, ATYP teaching artists and leading academics including Professor Emerita Robyn Ewing, AM.
Educators already using On Demand Plus in their classroom are seeing an increase in student literacy and engagement, whilst extending and refreshing their own skills as they gain greater confidence using drama and literacy strategies to teach the curriculum with greater creativity and participation.
