"Freedom" is a song in two halves "Awakening and Freedom which came out of the concept of Placement. As global citizens, our surroundings affect our daily lives in many different ways and we understand that where we live dictates our quality of life. The first section " Awakening" is all about taking stock. Looking around at what you have, believing in yourself, and learning more about the world around you. It was written around sounds captured from each students home during lockdown. The second section, Freedom is all about letting go and was a joy to create. The freedom to express yourself is perfectly captured in the funky riffs, chorus vocals and uplifting lyrics!
