The Centre for Space Science Technology (CSST) is a calibration and validation partner for NASA's new Earth science mission, ECOSTRESS.
ECOSTRESS is studying how effectively plants use water by measuring their temperature from space. ECOsystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in mid 2018, and is affixed to the outside of the International Space Station where it is making its temperature measurements.
