In the final DIVERISTY DATE of season 2, Dr John Fernandes is joined by LaDon Battle. LaDon is a strength and conditioning coach for Gallaudet University and has had roles at Arizona Christian University and Washington School for the Deaf. He holds a BSc in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and an MSc in Business Administration and Management. LaDon's goal is to become the first head coach of a Division 1 university and in doing so, be the first deaf person to hold such a position. In this LaDon discusses the importance of communication and motivation, and the methods he uses to get the best out of his teams. He also details the barriers he has faced as a deaf coach and how he has overcome those.
