Simon Beshara is a 2018 CST Consultants Rodney W.J. Seyffert Award recipient. While completing his PhD at McMaster University, Simon noticed a disconnect between the science he did in the lab and the treatments available in the clinic. To address this, he decided to enter medical school. As a physician-scientist, Simon hopes to bridge the gap between basic research in neuroplasticity and therapies available for patients. Simon is grateful for the generous support his CST Graduate Award has in funding his post-secondary education.
