As their science teacher Ms. Ward pulled out containers of paint, brushes, and art smocks, her class of pre-kindergartners reminded her that she was a SCIENCE teacher and not an ART teacher. Ms. Ward was quick to explain that art can be found in science, in math, and in other subjects, and that they would be learning about gravity by experimenting with paint. The students were excited to get to work by letting paint drip from their brushes onto paper, and then picking up the paper and moving it in different directions to observe how the paint moves with gravity. The result? A whole bunch of gravity masterpieces!
