Perhaps the destiny of our collective human hubris is to offer future planet visitors no more than a thin layer of geological debris, shattered artistic artifacts amidst bones and mythical stories encoded in undecipherable languages, submerged by telluric calamities seeking universal bio- electro-magnetic equilibrium, such as the Minoan civilization, rising to its demise 5000 years ago. They built however the most elaborate spatio-temporal serious gaming device, by tangling up inextricable paths and hyper-complexifying goal oriented displacement, leading to the enclosed and hidden monstrous fruit of elicit inhuman, divine and human love, through which they would gift 7 youths and 7 maiden players, in order to appease its rightful inhabitant, as rare readers like Deleuze suggest. The Zero X Labyrinth interactive virtual reality project revisits through immersive technology the minotaurean myth by submerging players as archaeological explorers in an infinite computational universe generating mazes resorting to non-human formation methods. The system interacts with the movements and sounds of visitors performed on the VR helmet-sculpture, immersing players in a first-person game structure accompanied by robotic voice echoes of homeric poetry fragments and millennial music spatialized electronic interpretations. Can you be faster than Asterion in solving the Maze? Do you hear the Minotaur, Theseus, the Birds, and The Food? Will You Love Ariadne? And what about the ball of thread?
