Deno surprises Industry Insiders participant Yafet.
Yafet is a pupil at one of the schools we went into. He has behavioural issues but Industry Insiders was really able to reach him and keep him focussed. Yafet finished his song in his own time, and found us on Instagram, sending us the song, he put on the bottom I hope Deno see's this, (Deno is Yafet's idol). As a reward for using his initiative we took Yafet down to the studio to record his song, and got Deno to come and surprise him with a gift from Puma which he then signed. Since giving Yafet opportunities he has become much better behaved in school and focussed. Yafet is only Year 7, but we hope to continue to inspire him and reward him with opportunities within the creative industries and when he's old enough get him the work experience he needs to achieve his dreams.
