Second through eighth grade was able to participate in a special chapel with Mr. Jonathan Birner. During chapel, he talked to the students about the use of the organ in leading congregational worship. The students were then divided into groups to build a small pipe organ. After they built the instrument they were invited to pump and play it. To end chapel the students sang a couple of songs with Mr. Birner accompanying them on the instrument. The instrument they built was an Orgelkids USA kit provided by the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
