The most heartfelt sentence during my short journey in Jordan was "welcome to jordan", Jordanian people never missed an opportunity to make us feel welcomed, always available and kind, always with a smile despite Jordan being a country still characterized by patches of poverty.
It’s the greatest asset is tourism, especially since the Treasury of Petra was added to the seven wonders of the modern world.
Subsequently after the war with Israel and the loss of the West Bank Jordan renounced its claim to the territory in 1988, and became one of two Arab states to sign a peace treaty with Israel in 1994,
even if talking with the Jordanians is strong the feeling of revenge with Israel.
Despite being a relatively small region we have changed different climatic situations, from the desert of Wadi Rum to the humid of the Dead Sea and the Red Sea, passing from the semi-arid climate in the 300km path that took us from an altitude of 900 meters on the level of the sea of Amman at 450 meters below sea level of Wadi Mujib.
Jordan has been repeatedly referred to as an "oasis of stability" in a turbulent region. From as early as 1948, Jordan has accepted refugees from multiple neighboring countries in conflict. An estimated 2 million Palestinian and 1.5 million Syrian refugees are present in Jordan and are now Jordanians in effect.
A community that certainly deserves more, in terms of investments for works of art and to focus on a structural increase in energy, despite the government's interest in buying oil in some areas could shift the focus towards clean energy and renewable.
The video introspectively narrates a journey through the faces and places of this wonderful country accompanied by a remix track of a famous Italian song that plays a lot on oriental sounds.
Thanks so much to all the Jordanian people.
