Problem Statement - For the past decades, music videos presumably tends to be considered as a platform to convey and identify the style or direction of the music itself together with the input of storyline or storytelling, visual effects, animations, dances, etc and it has been tremendously beneficial and practical so far (As in, able to have the responses or reactions of understanding, affections and emotional from the audiences towards the music through the implementation of music video elements or able to get the audience into the mood instantly) . Assuredly throughout the internet, most of the songs in recent years can be easily seen to have their own way of manifestation and signification with some complexity as well as some designed concept or flow to demonstrate and present the whole music video experiences. Comparing from the 80s and 90s music videos with today have clearly shown the evolution and growth for the basic standard requirements of a music video that needs to be immersing, engaging and fascinating at the same time to the audience is undoubtedly, not as easy as it used to be.

Even though with a great content of elements to showcase the music video might still not be interesting enough to attract the fond of the audiences in these days. Especially, if the song is not well known or the artists behind it. Not to mention that most of the music videos are still in a conventional type of style which is not entirely bad either, considering that’s basically the most common music video experience that the public could ever ask for. Hence, in order to engage and overcome the conservative and traditional or prescriptive type of music videos, that could provide a new experience which can also allow the audience to indulge and immerse themselves with the music and truly feel the content with the elements that will be inputted in a more emphatic and realistic way. Virtual reality will be essential for the role of bringing the creativity and imagination for music video to a better and a lot more satisfied experience. In addition, implementing virtual reality to music video can aid to create an attraction for a song that is not well known as well.

Project Objectives -

-To bring and display a different user experience of music video to the public

-To deliver a certain messages and content with selected music through the elements of motion graphic

-To have different motion graphic elements in one single video

-To emphasize and hoist the awareness of impact and benefits that virtual reality able to provide

-To explore and understand virtual reality and certain software in order to create an adequate outcome

-To demonstrate the capability of having the right motion for specific moment can possibly affect emotion

-To identify whether a new music video experience capable to attract the attention for a song that’s not well known
