Every January 1st is "Triumph of the Revolution" or Liberation Day when Cubans commemorate the anniversary of the victory of the revolution led by Fidel Castro in 1959 which established the present government in Cuba. Every 5 years there is a March in Havana. This was January 1st, 2017. The First March since Fidel Castro’s death.
