One of many great Yardbirds tunes I have come to know and love over the years, this one may be most memorable to me. This was one wild hit when it came out, as good as anything The Beatles or Dave Clark Five were putting out at the time. When I began hunting for oldies, this was the first Yardbirds 45 single I sought out and found. Released in March 1965, the song peaked at #1 and #2 on the leading UK charts and #1 in Canada. In the US, it peaked at #6 on Billboard and Cash Box on July 3, 1965 (CB date).
