Abridged Program Note:
When two people are connected, there’s a sound world in the silence between them, an unspoken yet ear-splitting link “heard” by no one else but them...a “silent soundtrack” I aim to make sonically material. Though physically a solo, the piece is permeated by another voice at play; the multi-tracking expands this single voice, interacting with that other presence growing and falling with it...coloring, speaking and moving with it. Inspired by my choreography for (I Want) To Be Held.
