In putting together the upcoming OGTA episode featuring WWII ace Steve Pisanos, we KNEW the music had to have a "Greek" feel. Dalton Coffey and Clyde Teel worked their genius beautifully, capturing the spirit of Greece and Steve's sense of steady determination to live the American dream.
Please turn it up and imagine a time when you were a stranger in a strange land...and knew you had much to prove.
OH! And the picture of the accordion? It's a genuine 1930's vintage Hohner "Student" model and used in scoring the film! Like Steve, it made its way across the Atlantic for future/fate unknown...and remembered, today.
