How do we keep small stories, dreams, distant conversations or anecdotes we hear from being forgotten? How can we make them real and long lasting?
As an artist, I’ve always been interested in recording and retelling these stories and have found in animation the best way to reenact them. I think of these short animations as an archive of small and mundane (sometimes even absurd) events, wherever they may have come from: a dream, a movie, a song, a sentence written on a wall. This is how I find meaning in what seem as meaningless moments in life.
