Short film response for final year university brief 'The Everyday.'
Inspired by the words of Twin Peaks' very own Agent Cooper 'Everyday once a day, give yourself a present' I asked people what small thing brings them joy in their everyday. It is both a celebration of this and a reflection on the Japanese term 'Mono No Aware' which is used to describe the bittersweet feeling of realising that time is fleeting. This film aims to allow people to reflect on the beauty of the everyday.
Song is 'Mono No Aware' by Great Grandpa.
Opening Audio is from Twin Peaks series 1 (1990) by Mark Frost and David Lynch.
