This completes my Cardigans trilogy with another track from First Band on the Moon, "Great Divide." Nina Persson's vocal struck me as a perfect opportunity to do a tribute to actress Marilyn Monroe as well as her last completed film, The Misfits. I would have liked to have done a song that was more familiar, an oldie, but this song seemed to me to be crying out to be the one ... for the one and only Marilyn.
