My second PSA is on Texting and Driving. I chose this as my PSA nonprofit because I grew up with both parents working in Allstate Insurance Agency and was taught to drive safe. Now I'm seeing drivers thinking that it's okay to text and driving. I have spent 14 hours on this project. Writing the script was fun, cause I had some Visual ideas on what to do and how I wanted the audience to hear it. I reached out one gentleman who's in my VoiceOver class by email. To ask him to record this voice as he read the script. I didn't put music and just focused on the sound effects to kind of paint a picture of the awareness. I have use sound effects from Pix a bay and Free sounds. The hardest thing that I worked on was getting the right sound effects. Specially when it came to car crashes or car engine starting. The thing that went smooth was putting the actors voice to the whole thing. I would say the results came out good. It was one of my favorite PSA that I had created so far.
