This was a class exercise where I was given an open-ended script and had to film it in the directing style of a director of my choice. I picked Martin Scorsese.
Some "Scorsese" elements include revealing flawed characters, letting the actors improvise the blocking, quick tilts (from the hands to the face and vice versa), and using music from the mid-1900s that fits the theme of the scene.
