There was a good amount of snow at the Highway 17 summit on February 5, 2019. This is the pass that connects Santa Cruz to Los Gatos and the rest of the Bay Area.
I have seen it snow at the summit, but I have never seen anything close to this amount of snow there. Kids were making snowmen and having snowball fights.
