Happy Thanksgiving! For the first time in 10 years, I've combined my dulcimer playing with my film making. I wrote this song "Sheets of Rain" 35 years ago and it has changed my life dramatically many times since then. The time lapses in this video are all mine, and I filmed the dulcimer in my home in Colorado today, November 27, 2019.
I play a James Jones 17/18/8 Custom Performance hammer dulcimer, with hammers by Paul Haslem. Filmed on Sony cameras with Zeiss lenses. Recorded with a matched pair of Neumann KM-184 condenser microphones.
