Who is Global Eclipse?
Global Eclipse is comprised of event producers, artists, and creators from all over the world. The core of the group is Symbiosis who have produced Symbiosis Gathering in California since 2005, an annular eclipse gathering in Nevada in 2012, co-produced the Total Solar Eclipse in north Queensland, Australia in 2012, and Oregon Eclipse in 2017.
The 2017 event brought together 12 festivals from around the world in a collaboration to celebrate a solar eclipse. The 2020 event will change the game again.

International Network of Collaboration…
Our invitation for collaboration is reaching far and wide. Instead of limiting the collaborators to large events we are opening our doors to grassroots creators from around the world. We hope that this collaboration weaves a tight web of cooperation that transcends borders, nationalities, languages, and entertainment preference. Already we have events from Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Japan pledging their support and our network will only build from here.

This experience is a CULTURAL GATHERING to CELEBRATE A TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE.
Global Eclipse Patagonia Gathering will be full of art, music, educational workshops, yoga, dance, permaculture and myriad opportunities to inspire the soul and enliven the spirit.
There are two headliners for this event…

The first headliner is the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE…

The second headliner is OUR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY and yes we are talking about you!
An event with awe, wonder, reverence, and celebration takes a special type of person to really appreciate this cosmic spectacle. This is who we will be gathering with.

Estancia Los Corrales
The gathering site is in Patagonia in the Neuquen Province. The site lies EXACTLY on the line of Maximum Totality which means its literally the best location to view the Total Solar Eclipse.
In addition, east of the Andes is in the Rain Shadow which is when “mountains block the passage of rain-producing weather systems and cast a “shadow” of dryness behind them”. This leads to less moisture but more importantly LESS CHANCE OF CLOUDS which increase the odds of witnessing this cosmic spectacle!

Whats the deal?
The dates of the gathering are 10-16 December, 2020. You can expect a diverse array of electronic music and live bands featuring many acts from Argentina, Chile and the entire South American continent. Artists will come from around the world to build monumental art and immersive environments that will whisk you away into an reality of joy and wonder.
While this experience is very international, we are focused on honoring the culture of this magickal experience and sharing it with YOU!

The Global Eclipse Patagonia Gathering will only happen with a TEAM OF GLOBAL COLLABORATORS! Our core production staff has experience producing events of a large magnitude however this is our first event in Argentina. We are actively working with local producers from Argentina and Chile and our team is growing by the day.

Be flexible and patient…
This event will be the first of its kind so we ask that you to be flexible!
We don’t have the benefit of a practice run. We have one shot to make this experience the best it can possibly be. So we acknowledge there will be some rough patches, there may be long lines, and there may be mistakes that were made that are completely obvious in hindsight.

We want you to know that we have every intention to make this experience the best it can possibly be. Our focus is to create an amazing container for our global community to witness the most amazing cosmic spectacle one can ever see.
