Atlántida Film Fest is a cinema festival and their intention is to give visibility for the independent film industry. This festival is divided in different departments like identity, history memory, politics, etc.
At university we were given the opportunity to work for them and help in the design process of the opening titles for the generation department. As we were meant to create something related to generation I started an investigation focused on the z generation, the youngest adult generation in order to make the festival approachable to those group of people.
This festival is driven by Filmin an online audiovisual platform, even they didn’t want to be related to the festival I thought that it was a good idea to promote the platform too. I wanted to play with colors but always using black as a reference. The typographies were given by the client.
