This is a story I Directed & shot in Tokyo, Japan For a series I directed called "Chasing the Sun" which was 8 x 50 minute documentary's & 100 short form story's for social media shot in South East Asian. Back in the day the only way to really get to listen to jazz music was by going to these bars and digging unless you were super rich and could afford to by tons of records. These days streaming is killing these magical places. Chokuritsu Enjin, Jazz bar is owned by Masaya Ishizaki. This was made for Ovation TV & Journy now in the USA and the Nat Geo People channel globally in collaboration with Save Your Day films (UK)
