This song is about the death of the artist's grandfather. Personally at the end (of a life) I remember the beginning. The happiness of simpler times before being exposed to the world beyond and responsibilities attached. My grandfather and I were closer in my childhood when I would go to his farm and he would teach me how to ride his horse. I am especially fond of the memories I have of my childhood, so in memory of an old soul I remember the love.
